
Plan A’s Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the design management documentation was sufficiently tailored to the requirements of the project.
- Documentation such as a design issues tracker and weekly progress reports needed to be easy to use, provide ‘real time’ information and allow informed decision-making for a demanding fast-tracked and overlapping programme.
- As well as managing the reporting and integration between the design and construction programme, Plan A’s remit related to making sure that the necessary design management tools and procedures were in place.
