Project Update: Canadian Parliamentary Precinct

We’re excited to share a major milestone in this landmark project in Canada.

For the past couple of years, Plan A has been working closely with David Chipperfield Architects, alongside Zeidler Inc., to provide Design Management support for the reimagining of the Block 2 Parliamentary Precinct project in Ottawa.

On 19 June, the Board of Directors of the National Capital Commission approved the 50% schematic design approval. Facing Parliament Hill, the project will provide office space for parliamentary staff as well as retail units for the public.

Key parts of our role in reaching this important milestone have been to support the Design Team with design programming, tracking risks and resolving issues, and mapping out stakeholder engagement. We look forward to continuing this support as we move toward closing out the stage later this year.
