Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi Opens to the Public

On Saturday 22 November, the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi officially opened, creating a new landmark in the Saadiyat Cultural District.

We are very proud to have supported Mecanoo with design management services during the concept design phase of this incredible project.

Designed by Mecanoo for the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Miral, the new museum serves as both a scientific research and teaching institution, as well as an educational resource exploring the evolving story of our planet.

We look forward to visiting this beautiful building in the new year and experiencing the architecture and the museum’s collection.
