Gascoigne East & Gascoigne West Regeneration Projects
Over the past two and a half years Plan A Consultants has been employed by Swedish practise White Arkitekter on both the Gascoigne East and Gascoigne West regeneration projects in Barking, east London.
We were employed directly by White as their Design Manager covering management of sub-consultants, making sure the team hit the agreed programme dates, organising and leading meetings and workshops, chasing actions and all the usual activities expected of a Lead Consultant in a leadership role. Working with all of the consultants who contributed, the BeFirst Client team and particularly White has been such a positive experience.
We are delighted to have played our small part as well with the culmination that the council has now approved two separate planning applications for over 900 homes. We really like the line from Linda Thiel who has headed up the scheme for White. The Gascoigne project is ‘a move from estate to neighbourhood’. It sums it all up perfectly.
